about

Danielle Allen (she/her) is a Brooklyn-based theatre artist with a degree in theatre performance from Wagner College. Shortly after graduating, she joined the 1st national tour of Bartlett Sher’s Broadway production of Fiddler on the Roof, completing over three hundred performances on the road. Since then, she’s been a regular in the NYC independent theater scene, working at The Tank, The Chain Theatre, The Maker's Space, The Rat NYC, Caveat, and others. As a playwright, her work has been developed through New Ambassadors Theatre, Script Club NYC, The Barrow Group Artist Residency Series, and Dramatic Question Theatre's American Woman program. Her play Lunaticus was recently produced at The Tank. When not writing or performing, she’s helping run her local community clean-up group, playing tennis in Prospect Park, and noodling around on the mountain dulcimer. Instagram: @thedanielleallen
